How to access your email in Microsoft Outlook

With all our web hosting and email hosting plans you can easily setup access to pickup your email in Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express or any other desktop based email application.

Setting up Microsoft Outlook to access your POP or IMAP email account only takes a few moments. Please follow our step by step guide below:

Microsoft Outlook Email Account Setup Guide

This guide has been created for Outlook 2003, newer versions vary slightly:
1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2.  Click on “tools” then “email accounts”
3. Select “add email account”
4. Select “POP3″ or “IMAP”
5. The next screen will ask for all the server settings, please use the following:
Username: (your full email address i.e. bob@bobsmith.com)
Password:  (the password you set this account inside cPanel)
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
6. BEFORE you click on next, select “more settings”
7. A new window will now open, click on the “advanced tab”
8. Enable “leave copy of emails on server” and select “remove from server after 30 days”
9. Click “OK” to close the window
10. Click on “next” then “finish” – you are now done!
